TV Pins Releases New Song “Bye Bye Reseda”
British alt-rock band TV Pins, consisting of James Schofield (vocals), Duncan O’Neill (guitar), Miles Nicholas (drums), Simon Hudson (bass) and Grace Bailey-Hinks (keyboard), will release their upcoming debut album “Aircutter” on October 25, 2024.
From the album, the band released a new song “Bye Bye Reseda” on October 11, 2024.
The song is the third single off the album, following “Magpie Eyes” and “Daisy Saturday Night”.
The track was written by James Schofield, Duncan O’Neill, Miles Nicholas, Simon Hudson and Grace Bailey-Hinks.
The accompanying music video was directed by Richard Nash.
The band said of the song, “Bye Bye Reseda imagines an alternative future where the USA has become a totalitarian regime. The Supreme Leader has turned the entire southern States into a monstrous golf course and named it after their favourite LA suburb. All residents of Reseda are forced to work the course as Caddies, bartenders or exotic dancers for less than minimum wage. Any non-compliance is met with either violence or imprisonment. Until one day, a young couple attempt to escape. Will they make it to the coast? Will they find refuge?”- The debut album features a fusion of 70s Americana, classic British new wave, 60’s psychedelia and hook-laden power pop.
The band said of the album, “So much time, effort and love has gone into these tunes. We're beyond thrilled that Aircutter is finally going to see the light of day and we are busting to get out there to play it live. It's been a glorious evolution of fun and work bringing our debut album to the world.” -
