Caroline Romano Releases New Song “Pretty Boys”
Nashville-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Caroline Roman released a new song “Pretty Boys” on October 11, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to “Body Bag”, which was released back in August.
Born from the raw emotions of heartbreak, the song is both explosive and tender, capturing the duality of love and loss.
The track was written by Caroline Romano, Spencer Jordan, and Taylor Dubray who also produced it.
Caroline Romano saido the song, “'Pretty Boys' is my honest recount of heartbreak. It's like reading straight from my diary-a dramatic story with a terribly disappointing ending. The song is a cautionary tale about the blurry line between friendship and something more. Just because you’ve kissed him doesn’t mean you should do it again, and just because he looks at you that way doesn't mean you’re the only one. 'Pretty Boys' feels like a high school crush at 22, with all the highs, lows, and semi-committal main characters. It’s a very specific experience, but one that’s universally relatable.”- She shared on social media, “This is what I know about cat ears and warning signs, fish nets and bathroom lines, and firsthand accounts of secondhand sadness.
