Lizzy McAlpine Releases New Deluxe Album “Older (and Wiser)”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Lizzy McAlpine released the deluxe edition of her third studio album “Older”, entitled “Older (and Wiser)” on October 4, 2024 via RCA Records.
The standard edition was released back in April, marking her first album in two years since the 2022 album “Five Seconds Flat”.
The deluxe edition comprises a 19-track, including the original 14 songs and 5 new songs.
She recorded one song “Method Acting (Demo)” in 2022, and other 4 songs in 4 days at Electric Lady Studios in New York.
This time, American folk-pop vocal trio Tiny Habits joined in two songs “Pushing It Down and Praying” and “Spring Into Summer”.
Produced by Lizzy McAlpine, Ethan Gruska, and Mason Stoops.- Lizzy McAlpine said of the album, “These songs are the last things I have to say about the story of Older, and I think they wrap it up pretty nicely making them with the band was so much fun and I hope you love them as much as we do. And special shoutout to Tiny Habits who sang on 'Pushing It Down and Praying' and 'Spring Into Summer'”.
She added, “We recorded 4 of them in 4 days at Electric Lady Studios after the east coast leg of tour, and the method acting demo I recorded + wrote with Electric Lady Studios forever ago (2022).” - source : Apple Music
