Becky and the Birds Releases New Song “I made my baby cry”
Swedish singer-songwriter Thea Gustafsson, aka Becky and the Birds will release her upcoming debut album “Only music makes me cry now” on November 15, 2024 via 4AD.
The album comprises 12 songs, produced by Thea Gustafsson.
From the album, she has released a new song “I made my baby cry”.
The song is the second single off of the album and received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Artists with Sian Eleri.
The track was written and produced by Thea Gustafsson.
Thea Gustafsson said of the song, “I wrote this song after a breakup. To me breakups are the worst, seeing the other people die inside, knowing that you caused that death.”- Also, she shared on social media, “This song was so painful to write but it has managed to liberate me again and again ever since. It is truly my favorite song and it’s so special to me and I couldn’t be happier to share it with you. This one is for the ones that I’ve loved and lost.”
