Dean Lewis & Daniel Seavey Team Up for Cover of Coldplay's “Fix You”
Australian singer-songwriter Dean Lewis and American singer-songwriter and former Why Don't We's member Daniel Seavey teamed up to release a cover of British rock band Coldplay's “Fix You” on October 3, 2024, ahead of Dean Lewis' upcoming third studio album “The Epilogue”.
This marks the first collaboration between Dean Lewis and Daniel Seavey.
But Daniel Seavey will support Dean Lewis' The Epilogue World Tour, which kicks off at Civic Theatre in Newcastle, Australia on October 30, 2024.
The original version of the song was released by Coldplay from their third studio album “X&Y” in 2005.
The track was written by Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonathan Buckland, and Will Champion. The cover version was produced by Colin Foote, Alex Borel, and Dean Lewis.
The song has been covered by many artists, the likes of Yellowcard, Sam Smith, BTS, Camila Cabello, and Ed Sheeran.
Also, Coldplay released their latest album “Moon Music” on October 4, 2024.
