Andy Grammer Releases New Song “Magic”
American singer-songwriter Andy Grammer will release his upcoming fifth studio album “Monster” this Friday (October 4th).
The album is his first LP in five years since the 2019 album “Naive”.
From the album, he released the third and final pre-release single called “Magic” on October 2, 2024.
The track was written by Andrew Grammer, Autumn Rowe, Bram Inscore. Produced by Bram Inscore, Adam Friedman, Andy Grammer.
Andy Grammer said of the song, “The song was inspired by life's unexplainable moments of wonder. The cynical parts of me have tried to explain them away in the past. These days I'm just resigning to the idea that this life might just have more going on than I understand and that's actually an awesome feeling.”- The accompanying music video was directed by Cooper Davidson.
The clip features his own French bulldog, Lucy and other dogs.
Andy Grammer said of the video, “Man, this just makes me think of a dog with a head out the window. It was a blast. From now on, I just want dogs in every one of my music videos. She (Lucy) crushed it.” -
The new album comprises 11 songs, featuring guest appearances from American country duo Maddie & Tae and American singer-songwriter and his wife AIJIA.
Produced by Adam Friedman, Andrew DeRoberts, Andy Grammer, Bram Inscore, Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman and Sam Barsh.
Andy Grammer said of the album, “The record is about embracing the full spectrum of emotions, especially the uncomfortable ones like anger. The album pulled me into spaces I haven't been before. I was initially worried that writing about anger might come off as negative, but I've realized that sometimes, simply letting others know you've been in the same spot they are can be just as healing as an overtly upbeat song.” - source : Apple Music
