bennytheghost Releases New Song “ANIMAL” featuring KiNG MALA
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter bennytheghost teamed up with Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer-songwriter KiNG MALA to release a new song “ANIMAL” on September 27, 2024.
The song is the first major release under his new label Good Boy Records.
The single sonically represents this new world that has slowly been molded into the most profit-based, evil, capitalist nightmare and calls out society for its inhumane hunger for money.
The track was written by Areli Castro, Benjamin Hon, Daniel Loumpouridis, and Robert Auerbach who also produced it.
bennytheghost said of the song, “For more than two years we been workin on this song. it has inspired a whole world and i’m so stoked to finally be able to share it with you guys.”- He draws inspiration from the Gorillaz and JOJI in crafting this new realm.
He said, “I take massive inspiration from JOJI who’s songs are also incredibly dramatic and heartbreaking, while his character is so goofy, aloof, mysterious and funny. A dichotomy that houses those two opposites is so compelling to me; that’s where I want to live.” - source : Apple Music
