American electro-pop singer-songwriter M the Myth returned with a new song “Pin-up Boy” on September 27, 2024.
The song is their first music in two years since “Thirst Trap” with Medusa and “Deeper In Love”.
It is an anthem of sexual liberation and freedom of expression.
The track was written and produced by M the Myth.
M the Myth said of the song, “When I wrote it, I imagined Sam Smith singing it - I wanted to create something that embodied my sexuality and sensuality. This song is about sexual liberation, freedom of expression, and self-empowerment. It helps me believe in my own beauty and the beauty of my body. Too often, people hide or judge their desires. In this song, I’ve broken free from self judgment and embraced my truth.”- They continued, “Even though I sing, 'I’m a Pin-up Boy,' I know I am so much more than any label, and we all are. This song is an affirmation for anyone to break free from the toxic addiction to patriarchy. It’s about letting go, breaking gender boundaries, and flipping the script.”
