Sasha Keable Releases New Song “Take Your Time” featuring 6LACK
London-based singer-songwriter Sasha Keable released her brand new single called “Take Your Time” on September 26, 2024.
This time, she recruited American rapper 6LACK for the track.
It is the first collaboration between Sasha Keable and 6LACK.
The song is the third single of 2024, following “Hold Up” and “AUCTION” with American singer-songwriter DESTIN CONRAD.
It was written by kwn, Ricardo Valdez Valentine Jr., Sasha Keable, and Etienne who also produced the track.
“This was the first record I wrote in the new load of music coming out where I felt like I completely understood what I was trying to do and the direction I was trying to go in,” Sasha Keable said of the song. “This actually came before Auction and Hold Up. This was the first song I wrote where I was like 'Yep, this is what I'm doing'. It's really special to me and to have someone I look up to so much like 6lack be featured on it and kill it means the world.”- The accompanying music video was directed by Abdi Ibrahim, who filmed in Los Angeles.
She shared said of the video, “Abdi Ibrahim thank you so so much for bringing this vision to life, you're incredible and working with you and your team was an absolute dream. So grateful for you, best shoot day ever. 6LACK you're the easiest person to work with ever, it was amazing to watch you do your thing. I've been such a fan for the longest and to be able to say we have a tune together is insane. You absolutely shelled your verse.”
