Måneskin's Damiano David Releases Debut Solo Song “Silverlines”
Italian rock band Måneskin's frontman Damiano David released his debut solo single called “Silverlines” on September 27, 2024.
This time, he worked with British singer-songwriter Labrinth, who co-wrote and produced the track, and co-writers Ferras Alqaisi, and Sarah Hudson.
The accompanying music video was directed by Nono + Rodrigo.
The song will appear on his upcoming debut solo album.
“This song is very special to me,” Damiano David said of the song. “It was one of the first songs to be recorded on this new project, and at the time it represented a letter of hope, but now, if I look back, I can see how I am exactly where the song said I would be. It was automatic for me to pick this song as the beginning of this new chapter and I really hope that people are going to join me on this journey.”- He shared on social media, “My name is Damiano David. I was born in 1999, Rome, Italy. I love music, arts and women. I love the feeling of beautiful clothes and the smell of a nice perfume. In my life I've been a thief, a liar, a lover, a shapeshifter. I travelled all around the world to find my voice, just to end up where everything's started. My name is Damiano David. And today, is the first day of my life.”

Damiano David told NME about the song, “This is the first song, but emotionally, it's the last one, it's the end of the journey. After all this work, I found my silver lining and peace belongs to me. It's basically a very metaphorical representation of the meaning of the songs, so there's the turning off to get back to life, finding the key to access the street that gets to happiness, and the stages of my life.”
He added, “Also, it's with Labrinth - to make my debut with one of the biggest producers in the world is amazing.”
