Craig David Releases New Song “In Your Hands”
British singer-songwriter Craig David released his brand new song “In Your Hands” on September 27, 2024.
The song is his first solo music in two years since the 2022 album “22”.
As the single, the track follows up the collaborative song “Abracadabra” with British singer-songwriter Wes Nelson, which was released back in February.
The track was written by Craig David and Michael Engmann. Produced by Mike Brainchild.
Craig David said of the song, “‘In Your Hands is such an important song for me as I wanted to shine a light on how truly special we all are, especially when we allow our inner child to play, that part of us that holds the true meaning & joy to life.”
He added, “It was so important for me to land each part of the song to honour the simple, yet powerful sentiment of the chorus.”- The accompanying music video was directed by Lx.
Lx said of the video, “Having grown up listening to Craig David getting to work alongside him feels like an incredible full-circle moment. From paying homage to his ‘7 Days‘ video through little Easter eggs to collaborating on the idea and coming up with a narrative following a younger version of him and his love for music – It’s been an honour to work with Craig and his team.
