Kylie Minogue Releases New Song “Lights Camera Action”
Last week, Australian singer-songwriter Kylie Minogue announced her upcoming seventeenth studio album “Tension II” would be released on Cotober 18, 2024 via BMG.
The album is a sequel to the 2023 album “Tension”.
The album comprises 13-track, featuring collaborations with The Blessed Madonna, Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo, Orville Peck, Diplo, and Sia.
Kylie Minogue said of the album, “The Tension era has been so special to me... I can't possibly let it be over just yet! Welcome to Tension II.”
From the album, she released a new song “Lights Camera Action” on September 27, 2024.
The song is the fifth single off of the album, following “Edge of Saturday Night” with The Blessed Madonna, “Dance Alone” with Sia, “Midnight Ride” with Orville Peck and Diplo, and “My Oh My” with Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo.
She co-wrote the song with Norwegian singer-songwriter Ina Wroldsen and British DJ duo Just Kiddin's Lewis Thompso.
The accompanying music video was directed by Sophie Muller, who filmed it in Budapest.- Kylie Minogue embarks on Tension Tour in 2025. It will be her biggest tour in 13 years.
The tour kicks off at RAC Arena in Perth, WA on February 15, 2025.
