Daisy the Great Returns with New Song “All The People”
Brooklyn-based alt-pop band Daisy The Great, consisting of Kelley Nicole Dugan (vocals/keyboards) and Mina Walker (vocals/guitar), returned with a new song “All The People” on September 25, 2024.
The song is their first music since the 2023 EP “Tough Kid”.
This time, the band worked with American record producer Tony Visconti on the track.
Also, the song is the first single off of their upcoming EP “Spectacle: Daisy the Great vs. Tony Visconti”, which is set to be released this Fruday (September 27) via via S-Curve Records.
The EP comprises 5-songs, produced by Tony Visconti.
The track was written by Kelley Nicole Dugan, Mina Walker, and Tony Visconti.
The band said of the song, “It’s about wondering how you would live if you could forget about the constancy of time passing.”- They continued, “Tony Visconti is the kind of legendary producer you never think you’ll get to meet, let alone work with. We were already stunned enough just being able to meet him, but then, when we got back to New York, we heard that after he watched our set he wanted to work with us. We burst into a million pieces and said of course we’d love to. Tony’s such a legend. We grew up on so many records that he’s been a part of, especially the Bowie albums that have always been so dear to us. Once we were all back in New York, we started going to Tony’s studio a few times a week to write and eventually we put together this EP, Spectacle: Daisy the Great vs. Tony Visconti. We hope you love the songs. They were made with playful brains and big hearts.”

The band said of the EP, “Last year, we met legend rockstar Tony Visconti in Germany while we were playing Reeperbahn Fest on our first ever European tour. When we came back to NYC we linked up and started writing together. Over the last year, we wrote and recorded five awesome songs culminating in this epic EP. We have always been such fans of Tony’s production and playing. So many of the records he’s worked on have been inspirations to us throughout our lives and it’s been such an honor to get to work together.” - source : Apple Music
