Reb Fountain Releases New Song “Come Down”
New Zealand singer-songwriter Reb Fountain released her brand new single called “Come Down” on September 24, 2024.
The song is the second single of 2024, following “How Bizarre” released back in May.
She recorded the track at Roundhead Studios in Auckland. The track is an ode to female friendship and celebrating platonic love.
The track was written by Reb Fountain, and produced by Simon Gooding, Matthew Mitchinson, and David Khan.
Reb Fountain said of the song, “'Come Down' conjures the feeling you get when out on the town with your crew. In the ecstatic blur of the moment, you’re reminded that you are born free, that you don’t have to be someone else to belong and that shining your light no matter how fragmented, broken or beautiful, brings joy and connection and hope.”- The accompanying music video was directed by Lola Fountain-Best.
The video features Fountain’s daughter, Lola Fountain-Best, and her best friend, Eve, and shot by Reb Fountain herself.
She said of the video, “The video invites us to share in their love story over one night; a deep and heartfelt connection that brings joy and solace that helps one navigate the journey.” -
