  • Beach Bunny Releases New Song “Clueless”

  • Chicago-based indie rock band Beach Bunny, consisting of Lili Trifilio (vocals/rhythm guitar), Jon Alvarado (drums) and Anthony Vaccaro (lead guitar), released a new song “Clueless” along with a music video on September 25, 2024.

The song follows up their comeback song “Vertigo”, which was released back in June for the first time in two years.
The song explores the feeling of loneliness in your late 20s and the passage of time.
It was written by Anthony Vaccaro, Jon Alvarado, and Liliana Trifilio. Produced by Sean O'Keefe.

The band lead singer Lili Trifilio said of the son, “I wrote this song in February reflecting on the passing new year. It took me 5 minutes to write, in a lot of ways it wrote itself - it’s not supposed to be sad, I just hope it makes you feel something. Time & changing are complicated subjects, I didn’t write this track with the intention of forming any conclusions, I really just needed to get my thoughts out - I still don’t understand it all, but that’s the fun part of being alive: figuring it out along the way.”
  • The accompanying video was directed by Bertie Gilbert.
The band said off the video, “Made by the best team in the world, seriously had the best time - eternally greatful and obsessed with how it turned out. Love how this video perfectly captures the bittersweetness I was feeling while writing this track.”

The band shared on social media, “If you get nostalgic and existential around your birthday this tracks for you. In a strange way putting it out makes me less scared or getting older and changing, like I needed to release these feelings into the world to move through them. I hope it helps you release those emotions too.”
