James Blunt Releases Demo Version of “Wisemen”
British singer-songwriter James Blunt will release the 20th anniversary edition of his debut album “Back to Bedlam”, entitled “Back to Bedlam (20th Anniversary Edition)” on October 11, 2024.
The album “Back to Bedlam (20th Anniversary Edition)” comprise 25 songs, including 10 remasters, 10 demos, 4 bonus demos, and bonus B-side.
The debut album “Back To Bedlam” featured the double platinum selling global smash hit “You’re Beautiful” and has sold over 11 million copies worldwide.
James Blunt said of the album, “I've released seven studio albums, but Back To Bedlam was the one people actually bought. So on its twentieth anniversary, the record label and I thought we should repackage it with some early demos, and milk it for all it's worth. It was one of the biggest selling albums of the Noughties, so here's hoping it makes a dent in the 20's.”- From the 20th Anniversary Edition, he released a demo version of “Wisemen” on September 25, 2024.
The original version of the song was released as the second single from his debut album in March 2005.
The track was written by James Blunt, Jimmy Hogarth, and Sacha Skarbek. Produced by Jimmy Hogarth and Tom Rothrock.
