  • Jean Dawson Announces New Album “Glimmer of God”, Shares New Song “Houston”

  • Mexican-American singer-songwriter Jean Dawson has announced his upcoming fourth studio album “Glimmer of God” will be released on October 18, 2024.


    The album is the first LP in two years since the 2022 album “CHAOS NOW*”.
    According to press release, the album is most honest work and deeply riveting work to date, and is inspired by Modest Mouse, Prince, Stevie Wonder, and Zapp with Roger Troutman.
    From the album, he released the second single called “Houston” on September 20, 2024, following “Die For Me” featuting Lil Yachty.
    The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
    On the track, he worked with producers Hoskins, Biako, Austin Corona, Johnny May, and Wyatt Bernard.
    “Houston” is an introspective track, but is a fusion of dance and '80s pop.
  • Jean Dawson embarks on Glimmer of God Tour in support of the album. The tour kicks off at Varsity Theater in Minneapolis, MN on October 18 and will conclude at Supremo in Mexico City, Mexico on December 14, 2024.
