Kurt Baker Returns with New Song “Delusional”
American singer-songwriter Kurt Baker returned with a new song “Delusional” on September 20, 2024 via Wicked Cool Records.
The song is his first music in a year since the 2023 album “Rock 'N' Roll Club”.
Also, the single follows up a new live album “Live at Sala Z (Live at Sala Z, Zaragoza, Spain)”.
He recorded the song with Wyatt Funderburk (guitar), Rich Kelly III (drums) and Geoff Palmer (guitar) at Nebulon II in Nashville.
The track was written by Kurt Baker and produced by Wyatt Funderburk.
Kurt Baker said of the song, “This song came to me very quickly when I started to think about my old days writing songs for my first pop punk band The Leftovers. I picked up the guitar and the chords came with the lyric “delusional”. Sometimes it ain't easy playing music and pursuing your passions - sometimes you might think “Am I totally just full of crap?”. Well, chances are you are NOT, but this song is about the feeling you sometimes get when you start to question yourself.
