Dakota 66 Releases New Song “Remember Me”
Irish indie rock band Dakota 66, consisting of J Gallagher (vocals), Brian Grace (guitar), Brian Curran (bass) and Thomas Leonard (drums), released a new song “Remember Me” on September 20, 2024.
The song is a reflective memo on what truly matters in life, emphasizing that life is not merely something that happens to you, but something you can shape through your actions.
In the lyrics, the band conveys encapsulating the essence of the song's message, “'Remember' is not what you got but what you give to get a lot”.
It was written by John Gallagher and produced by Dakota 66 and Cian Boylan of Camden Recording Studios.
The band said of their music, “Our goal has always been to create music that connects with people on a profound level. We want our listeners to feel something beyond melody or rhythm—to see into the soul of our music and into us as a band.”- The new album is set to be released later this year. It is the follow-up to their debut album “If Not Now, When”, which was released back in March.
