ODD LUKE Releases New Song “Silver Cinema”
London-based singer-songwriter Andy Black, aka ODD LUKE released his brand new single called “Silver Cinema” on September 17, 2024.
The song is the second single, following debut song “Disconnect” released back in July.
This time, he co-wrote the song with fellow Scots Stewart Brock and Kerr Okan at Octagon Studios in Brixton.Produced by Matthew Barnes.
The track is a colourful dose of glitchy, euphoric electro-pop and befitted with funky bass lines and skittering drum loops.
ODD LUKE said of the song, “This one is meant to take you on a wild ride through the tangled mess that is complicated love. From regret-filled reflections on a relationship that’s been dragged through the mud, to pleading for a miracle and for things to change, only to have everything come crashing down in an instant, before finding yourself teetering on the edge of insanity. Who'd fall in love eh?”- He shared on social media, “Congrats! Your life is now a movie, but it’s one of those artsy ones where nothing makes sense and no one really says much. This one is the soundtrack to all those unresolved arguments, deep sighs, or maybe you’ve not met the person, yet you’ve fantasised away your whole life together after reaching for the same Aesop hand wash with the bits in it. Not in a 'me and my husband spotted you from across the bar and we really dig your vibe' way, more Lost in Translation. Popcorn - salty, existential crisis - mandatory.”
