All Time Low & I Prevail Team Up for “Hate This Song”
American rock band All Time Low teamed up with American rock band I Prevail to release a new song “Hate This Song” on September 17, 2024.
This marks the first time All Time Low and I Prevail have worked together.
For All Time Low, the song is their first single after the release of the latest album “The Forever Sessions (Vol. 1 / ATL's Versions)”, which was released last month.
While, I Prevail joined in the song as the third collaborative song of 2024, following NOTHING MORE's “HOUSE ON SAND” and “can u see me in the dark?” with Halestorm.
The track was written by Alex Gaskarth, Andrew Goldstein, Brian Burkheiser, Eric Vanlerberghe, Jack Barakat, and Steve Menoian. Produced by Zakk Cervini and Andrew Goldstein.
All Time Low's frontman Alex Gaskarth saido of the song, “'Hate This Song' has been waiting patiently in the wings since the release of our last full-length Tell Me I'm Alive. It was an opportunity to explore something kind of cheeky and different with a band we have a ton of respect for at the top of their game. The I Prevail guys brought their signature weight to the song and transformed it into something wonderfully unexpected and I see our bands coming together as the two sides of a coin dropping into the jukebox that's about to spin this song over and over again.”- I Prevail's Eric Vanlerberghe said, “A while back we were hit up by this little band called All Time Low. They sent us a track that they wrote and asked if we could spice it up a bit. We said absolutely and went to work. So happy to have this track out - finally - and to be the first ones to put a blast beat on an ATL song.”
