CATTY Releases New Song “Actress”
London-based alt-pop singer-songwriter CATTY, who supported Stevie Nicks' live at BST Hyde Par in July, will her highly-anticipated debut EP this fall.
From the EP, she released the fourth single called “Actress” on September 13, 2024, following “Healing Out Of Spite”, “I Dated A Monster”, and “I Wish I Gave You Hell”.
CATTY wrote the song with producer Ben Lythe.
CATTY said of the song, "Being mean doesn't make me feel good and this song was written, because I didn't have anything nice to say about this person. They made lying to me look effortless and that is honestly a talent. It makes me deeply uncomfortable to upset people and it's infuriating because I've let a lot of stupid people get away with stupid sh*t I wish I hadn't."
She added, “It follows the same time... if you act against me I will not be part of your downfall, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't secretly hoping for it."-
