WIINSTON Releases New Song “blue”
Copenhagen-based electro-R&B band WIINSTON, consisting of Alfred Thomas and Daniel Wagtmann, released a new song “blue” on September 13, 2024.
The song is taken from their upcoming innovative EP “SKITZO”, which is expected to be released in early 2025.
The EP is their first project in two years since the 2023 album “THE LAST DAYTONA”.
The track was written and produced by WIINSTON.
The band singer Daniel Wagtmann said of the song, “There’s a fine line between mainstream and anti-commercial. We always find ourselves standing on that line. And that’s how ‘blue’ came about with a tongue-in-cheek hook that’s both sarcastic and overmuch yet with an alluring and sophisticated sound to it.”- Producer Alfred Thomas said of the EP, “That’s why we came up with the ‘SKITZO’-project. It’s an EP-concept where every WIINSTON release comes with an A- and B-side using the same lyrics and melody but interpreted with completely different musical expressions.”
