Pale Waves Releases New Song “Thinking About You”
British alt-rock band Pale Waves, consisting of Heather Baron-Gracie (vocals/rhythm guitar), Ciara Doran (drums), Hugo Silvani (guitar) and Charlie Wood (bass), released their brand new song “Thinking About You” on September 13, 2024.
The song is the fourth single off of their upcoming fourth studio album “Smitten”, which is set to be released on September 20, 2024 via Dirty Hit.
The track was written by Heather Baron-Gracie and Simon Oscroft. Produced by Simon Oscroft and Iain Berryman.
The band lead singer Heather Baron-Gracie said of the song, “’Thinking About You’ is about a situation when someone leaves and you can’t quite fully move on yet. You know you should and that it’ll be better for you in the long run, but it’s harder and more painful than it seems.”- The new album comprises 12-track, produced by Simon Oscroft, Iain Berryman, and Hugo Silvani.
This marks their first body of work in two years since the 2022 album “Unwanted”.
Heather Baron-Gracie said of the album, “I found myself writing about not just a certain time period, but my whole life, from years ago. When I fall in love, I fall deep, and it’s interesting to me that you can feel so fascinated and smitten with someone and then they can become a total stranger.
