Alesso & David Guetta Team Up for New Song “Never Going Home Tonight” featuring Madison Love
Swedish DJ Alesso and French DJ David Guetta teamed up to release a new song “Never Going Home Tonight” on September 6, 2024.
This time, the pair recruited American singer-songwriter Madison Love for the track.
This marks the first collaboration between Alesso and David Guetta.
But David Guetta and Madison Love have worked together since the 2023 song “When We Were Young (The Logical Song)” with Kim Petras.
The track was written by Alessandro Lindblad, David Guetta, Giorgio Tuinfort, Madison Love, Paul Dudley Walden, Sean Douglas, Sorana Pacurar, and Zachary Skelton. Produced by Alesso and David Guetta.
Alesso said of the song, “I'm always excited when I get to work with David, and we wanted to make a real feel-good track for this one. It has everything I love about dance music in it – we're so excited to share it with you all!”- Alesso and David Guetta discussed about the song.
David Guetta said, “I worked on that song. I was feeling very epic and emotional. It was like a super beautiful song, but I couldn't really hack it in terms of drop. At some point, I started to go a little bit towards your style. And I was like, Okay, let me cool the box.”
He continued, “I miss this and everyone is playing so dark. I'm starting to play this again. I see the reaction of the people. They want to be inspired and that epic feel good type of music, and you're the king of that. I'm really proud of this record. I think it's crazy. I see that when I play. The reaction is crazy.” -
Alesso said, “From my understanding, you were missing some that epic euphoria feeling. I did one version that was like, okay, and then I did the second version. They were like, This is what we're talking about. We're in a time right now where we need those records in our sense.”
He continued, “Fist time I played my new song with David Guetta, it was Red Rocks in the US it was like they knew the song already there's a lot of big melodies out there, but this one really just felt like straight into the heart.” - source : Apple Music
