Lunar Vacation Releases New Song “Fantasy”
Atlanta-based indie rock band Lunar Vacation, consisting of Gep Repasky (vocals/guitar), Maggie Geeslin (vocals/guitar), Matteo Delurgio (keyboard), Connor Dowd (drums) and Ben Wulkman (bass), will their upcoming sophomore album “Everything Matters, Everything's Fire” next Friday (September 13) for the first time in three years.
So far, the band has released three singles “Set the Stage”, “Sick”, and “Tom” from the album.
On September 4, the fourth and final pre-release single called “Fantasy” along with a music visualizer, animated by Gaia Alare, was released.
The track was written by Ben Wulkan, Connor Dowd, Grace Repasky, Maggie Geeslin, and Matteo DeLurgio. Co-produced by Drew Vandenberg.
“'Fantasy' takes a look inside of my daydreams that are sometimes difficult to get away from,” the band's Gep Repasky said of the song in a statement. “Sometimes it's more comfortable to live in your own bubble and watch scenarios in your head all day. We composed the track to feel isolated, with just guitar and vocals in the verse, and then the band suddenly coming in all at once, to kind of mimic an intrusive thought.”- Photo by Alexa Viscius
