  • Ashe Releases New Song “Ashe”

  • American singer-songwriter Ashe will release her third studio album “Willson” this Friday (September 6th).

From the album, she released the fourth and final pre-release single “Ashe” on September 4, 2024.
The track was written by Ashlyn Willson, Collin Pastore, and Jake Finch. Produced by Jake Finch, and Collin Pastore.

Ashe said of the song, “When I decided to do one last single, I had fans pick the song. It feels so special because you all picked it. Honestly, I feel like this is the kind of song that doesn't typically become a single. So, like, I would've never picked it, not because I don't love it or because it doesn't represent the album (it honestly kind of represents the album better than any other song), but it's just serious! It's asking a question like, 'Does any of this matter?'. When I asked the question, 'What really matters?', I feel like I'm forced to reprioritize my life.”
  • The new album is her first release as an independent artist and is the first LP in two years.
Three album titles, including the new album, are named after her real name Ashlyn Rae Willson. The debut album “Ashlyn”, sophomore album “Rae” and the third album “Willson”.
The album features 12 songs, which were co-written by Ashlyn Willson, Collin Pastore, and Jake Finch in Nashville.
Produce by Collin Pastore and Jake Finch.
She made the album after taking a hiatus for her mental health.

  • Ashe said of the album, “After a whirlwind few years, I was exhausted and wanted out of my career. I fell in love and moved back to Nashville, but music and singing felt hollow and sad. I didn't want to see anyone or for anyone to see me. This time last Summer in Nashville, I started writing again. I treaded very lightly. Kept it secret and used it as a way to make sense of the last few years in private. I was taking my time and careful about sharing the music. I didn't want links sent around. The whole thing felt fragile. When ready, I showed the music to those I trusted in my living room. What I'm at liberty to say, and grateful to say, is this: amongst many changes, I'm now an independent artist and will be releasing my first ever independent album, Willson.”
