daydreamers Releases New Song “Don't Delete My Number”
British Indie-pop band daydreamers, consisting of Riley (vocals/guitar), Jay (drums), Aurora (bass) and Marco (guitar), released their brand new song “Don't Delete My Number” on August 30, 2024.
The song is the fourth single, following “Call Me Up”, “Beach House”, and “All I Ever Dream About”.
The track was written and produced by Riley.
The band frontman Riley said of the song, “If call me up was the 1st date then don’t delete my number is when they end up ghosting you... but seriously so happy to get this one out into the world. For those who’ve seen us live you’ll know how much we love playing this one.“- Riley said of his songwriting, “To me, daydreamers is ‘Sad Euphoria’. The lyrics will tear your heart out, but the music is euphoric. It’s built around playing live.”
He continued, “We want to create a space where people are shouting back their feelings to us and we’re all connecting. Even though the emotions are intense and often overwhelming, we’re all optimistic in the moment because we’re together.”
He added, “Writing feels addictive because you can’t control it. To have fun, to enjoy yourself, and to connect with people. I’m writing a song because I have a perspective I want to share and hope that others connect with it.” - source : Apple Music
