Sarah Brix Releases New Song “Ended Here”
Back in January, Toronto-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Sarah Brix released her debut song “Fly”, which took the second place in the 2024 Songs Revealed songwriting competition.
And then, she released the second single “Pass Me By” in March, focusing on the connection she has with her father.
Following these two songs, she released the third single called “Ended Here” along with a music video on August 30, 2024.
The song tells the story of being ghosted by her best friend and working through the loss and plethora of emotions that she experienced.
The track was written by Sarah Brix and produce by JUYI. The accompanying video was co-directed by Sarah Brix and Drew Brix.
Sarah Brix said of the song, “The song was inspired by the experience I went through when I was ghosted by my best friend. For three years, we had been inseparable and one day she completely cut off communication out of nowhere. This song not only tells the story of working through my emotions but is also a message to my long lost friend.”- Photo by Ethan Kapitan
