Kehlani Releases New Mixtape “While We Wait 2”
American singer-songwriter Kehlani released their fourth mixtape “While We Wait 2” on August 28, 2024 via TSNMI and Atlantic Records.
The mixtape is a sequel to the 2019 mixtape “While We Wait”.
Also, the project is the follow-up to fourth studio album “Crash”, which was released back in June.
The mixtape comprises a 14-track, featuring guest appearances from Lucky Daye, Kwn, Lil' Mo, Vince Staples, Destin Conrad, ChildofNines, Dixson, FLO, and Ludmilla.
The 13th track “8” and the 14th track “After Hours” are remix versions, and both songs of original versions are included on their latest album “Crash”.
Produced by Ambezza, Dillon, Nik D, and Scribz Riley.
Kehlani recorded the mixtape at their home studio in two weeks.- Kehlani said of the mixtape, "These are my current favorites. Means a lot to continue this feeling from WWW1. We made this tape in my back house in two weeks with all people I really dearly love. Thank you to all the features, my friends who sat up and wrote with me, my engineer, and my team. It was a breezy process and nobody thought hard. Just some feelings in 90 degree weather. Hope you enjoy.”

Kehlani embarks on “Crash World Tour” in support of the new album “Crash”. British girl group FLO and Atlanta-based rapper Anycia will support the tour.
The tour kicks off at Armory in Minneapolis, MN on September 4 and will conclude at Chase Center in San Francisco, CA on November 2, 2024.
