Daniel Seavey Releases New Song “Other People”
American singer-songwriter and former Why Don't We, Daniel Seavey released a new song “Other People” on August 30, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to “The Older You Get”, which was released back in May.
Both songs will appear on his upcoming debut album, which still doesn't have a title and release date.
The track was written by Andrew Luce, Daniel Seavey, David Alexander, Felicia Ferraro, Isaiah Tejada, Jordan K. Johnson, Michael Pollack, and Stefan Johnson. Produced by Daniel Seavey, Isaiah Tejada, Michael Pollack, and The Monsters & Strangerz.
In a statement, Daniel Seavey described the track as “a breakup song, but neither an angry one nor necessarily one-sided like a lot of breakup songs are. 'Other People' captures a situation where you just lost that spark. It's about the breakups where nothing went wrong, but things just burned out.”- He continued, “I don't like the idea that people ever mean to do wrong to you, especially when it's someone that loves you. I think sometimes people just have very different ways of going about the same thing, and sometimes that may mean that you're just not a fit for each other, and that's totally okay.”

Daniel Seavey shared on social media, “This song changed a lot for me... I was making very different music before this song and this one sorta changed the whole course of what I was doing. It felt like I could hear little daniel in this one... after making this song I began chasing the feeling this one gave me, so much that I wrote a whole new album after it.”
