Mabel Releases New Song “Chat”
British singer-songwriter Mabel released her brand new song called “Chat” on August 30. 2024.
She first performed the song at Notting Hill Carnival in London this past weekend.
The song is the fourth single of 2024, following “Vitamins”, “Look At My Body Pt. II”, and “Female Intuition”.
The track was written by Bas van Daalen, Benjamin Shapiro, Hamid Bashir, Jasper Helderman, Mabel Mcvey, and Zeina. Produced by Bas van Daalen, Alvaro, and Stryv.
The accompanying music visualiser was filmed by Toby Haygarth, which perfectly encapsulates the tender moments of Notting Hill Carnival, creating an ode to love with the vibrant and beautiful backdrop of the cultural celebration.- Mabel said of the song, “Chat is a song for the summer. A simple love song because the best kind of love doesn't have to be complicated. When you find a person that you can say all the things on your mind to and that all consuming feeling takes over.”
