Mk.gee Releases New Song “Lonely Fight”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Michael Gordon, aka Mk.gee released a new song “Lonely Fight” on August 23, 2024.
The song is his first music since the debut album “Two Star & The Dream Police”, which was released back in February.
He first performed the song during his North American tour this Spring.
The track was written by Andrew Aged and Michael Gordon. Produced by Mk.gee.
Mk.gee embarks on World Tour 2024 in support of the album this fall. The tour kicks off at Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC on September 2 and will conclude at The Forum in Melbourne, VIC on December 8, 2024.
Learn more about tour dates, here.- Back in May, British guitarist Eric Clapton said of Mk.gee in an interview with The Real Music Observer, “It sits in a bit of a pop category for me. It's unique. He has found things to do on the guitar that are like nobody else. And he can do it live. I used to have one of these things, a Tascam. It's a four-track recording cassette machine. He uses that as a preamp. So he's into the older stuff of sonics and tunings, and a great singer. My daughter turned me on to that and I trust her taste. The same when I first saw Prince, it was like we're safe. Just to know it's there is enough. There's this thing with Mk.gee and Dijon - Absolutely. It's a film. I couldn't believe it. [Innovation is] happening. It's still going on.”
