Caek and Minko Returns with New Song “Big Feelings”
American pop duo Caek and Minko, consisting of Mikaela Nelson and Mike Slap, returned with a new song “Big Feelings” on August 23, 2024.
The song is their first music in two years since the 2022 song “Green Lights”.
Also, it is the first release under their own label Taji Records.
The song will appear on their upcoming debut album.
The track was written by Michael Slavtcheff and Mikaela Nelson.
The duo said of the song, “'Big Feelings' traverses the complex relationship with human feelings and trauma. Both uplifting and insightful, it seeks to normalize the often unspoken truths about existing with emotional turbulence.”- Born and raised in Rhode Island, the pop duo started as friends and occasional collaborators and separately, they accumulated separate musical successes.
After years of grinding through the music business and honing their individual crafts, they ever decided to write alongside one another.
As a team, Caek and Minko are a self-contained pop duo with a distinct sound.
On the verge of releasing their debut album, the songs they churn out from their humble home studio are infectious, bright, and organic, with effortless hooks and always with a powerful message. -
