The Willful Deaf Releases New Song “Chasing Demons”
British psychedelic rock musician Matthew John Watts' project The Willful Deaf released a new song “Chasing Demons” on August 15, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to “End of the Sun”, which was released back in March.
Both songs will appear on his upcoming debut album “The Willful Deaf”, which is expected to be released later this year.
Both tracks were recorded at Matthew John Watts's home studio across several European cities, including Seville, Antwerp, and now Dublin, where he currently resides.

The inspiration for the lyrics of the song comes from observing the human tendency to misdirect efforts when solving problems, often preferring to attack those at the bottom rather than attack the elites, which is rather fitting given the recent far-right riots in the UK.
