The Fray Releases New Song “Don't Look Down”
American rock band The Fray, consisting of Joe King (vocals/rhythm guitar), Dave Welsh (lead guitar) and Ben Wysocki (drums), released the second single “Don't Look Down” from their upcoming EP “The Fray Is Back” on August 23, 2024.
The song follows up “Time Well Wasted”, which was last month.
The track was written by Ben Wysocki, David Welsh, Grant Averill, Joe King, and Joe London. Produced by The Fray and Joe London.
The song is a study in facing one’s fears and embracing uncertainty.
The new EP is set to be released on September 27, 2024 and comprises a 6-track, produced by The Fray alongside Andrew DeRoberts, Ryan Linvill, and Joe London.
It is their first project in a decade since the 2014 album “Helios”.
The EP title is named after a joyful declaration shouted out “The Fray Is Back” by a fan at a recent live show.
On the EP, guitarist Joe King performed as lead vocals.- Joe King said of the EP, “We didn't start out with any definitive expectations for this new material. We were just sharing ideas with each other and going on our own journey with the songs, and it became a unifying force that gave us new purpose and direction.”
