Clara Mae Returns with New Song “The Player”
Swedish singer-songwriter Clara Mae returned with a new song “The Player” on August 23, 2024.
The song is her first solo music since the 2023 single “Thank God These Walls Can't Talk”, which was released last May.
Also, the song will appear on her upcoming sophomore album.
The track was written by Clara Mae, Johan Lindbrandt, and Poppy Baskcomb. Produced by Johan Lindbrandt.
The accompanying music video was directed by Nowell Emanuel.
Clara Mae shared on social media, “It’s been sooo long. I’m so excited to share this first part and this song with you. Thank you so much for waiting while I was in this looong process of writing my album, tbh I really needed it! The Player has been a favorite of mine since the day we wrote it. I’m so happy with how it turned out.”- She added, “Thank you so much to everyone involved in this, I couldn’t have done it without you! Written together with the lovely Poppy Baskcomb and my fav Johan and ofc also produced by Johan Lindbrandt. Now go listen to the player and dance, cry, or maybe send it to you ex.”
