  • Coldplay Releases New Song “WE PRAY” featuring Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna & TINI

  • British rock band Coldplay, consisting of Chris Martin (vocals/keyboards/rhythm guitar), Jonny Buckland (guitar), Guy Berryman (bass) and Will Champion (drums), released the second single called “WE PRAY” from their upcoming tenth studio album “Moon Music” on August 23, 2024.


    This time, the band teamed up with British rapper Little Simz, Nigerian singer-songwriter Burna Boy, Palestinian-Chilean singer-songwriter Elyanna and Argentine singer-songwriter TINI on the track.
    The band first performed the song during Coldplay's headline set at Glastonbury 2024, with Simz appearing on stage with them and Burna Boy beamed onto the Pyramid Stage screens.
    The track was written by Andrea Torres, Chris Martin, Damini Ogulu, Davide Rossi, Elian Markieh, Guy Berryman, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Jonny Buckland, Martina Stoessel, Mauricio Rengifo, Max Martin, Shawn Carter, Simbiatu Abiola Abisola Ajikawo, and Will Champion. Produced by Bill Rahko, Daniel Green, ILYA, Max Martin, and Michael Ilbert.
  • The new album is set to be released on October 4, 2924 and comprises a 10-track.
    The album will be pressed on a world-first 140g EcoRecord LP, made entirely from recycled plastic bottles (nine per record).
    EcoCD will be created from 90% recycled polycarbonate, also sourced from post-consumer waste.
    Also, the band will be stop making music as Coldplay in 2025.
    Chris Martin told BBC Radio 2 Jo Whiley in an interview in 2021, “Well I know I can tell you: our last proper record will come out in 2025 and after that I think we will only tour. Maybe we'll do some collaborative things but the Coldplay catalogue, as it were, finishes then.”
