  • GRACEY Returns with New Song “Delirium”

  • British singer-songwriter GRACEY returned with a new song “Delirium” on August 21, 2024.

The song is her first solo music in three years since the 2021 EP “Fragile” and single “2000 Miles”.
The track was written by Andrew Haas, Grace Barker, Ian Franzino, Jesse Fink, and Sarah Troy. Produced by Afterhrs.
The accompanying music video was directed by Tony Tacheny.
She recorded the song in her home in Camden, Los Angeles and Sweden.

GRACEY said of the song, “‘Delirium’ felt like the perfect song to return with as it captures the biggest change in my life since I last released music: falling in love. The chorus of my last single was broken-hearted over the impossible, that ‘now I’ve got to go and fall in love again’ feeling – but it happened! Delirium is a celebration of those long mornings with a new partner, creating inside jokes and falling deeper in love. It’s about feeling safe to be your most free, unfiltered, childlike self and how euphoric that feels.”
  • She shared on social media, “This song is my first solo track in 2 years (2 fucking years), and can’t actually believe I’m finally getting to write and share this with you. I won’t lie, the process to get here hasn’t been easy. Leaving Polydor had me questioning myself a lot. It was the feeling that because this big music company wasn’t onboard I had failed, that continuing my journey as an artist wasn’t on the cards anymore, and it genuinely crushed me. Howeverrrr, it was when I finally got back in the studio after tour last year that something started to shift; with no pressure or judgement from people above me - music had become fun again.”

  • She continued, “I dove back into albums and artists I’d always loved, music that had inspired me to start releasing my own songs in the first place (Imogen Heap, Lorde, Kate Bush, Charli, Caroline Polachek/Chairlift, Gwen Stefani etc). I began mood boarding, daydreaming and writing music that felt genuinely exciting to me again (Delirium being one of the first, hence why I’m deciding to start with it!). Outside of the studio, I fell in love and that in itself has been fucking magical and inspiring. I feel like so much has changed since the Fragile EP, and I couldn’t be more excited to show you the new world I’ve been living in.”
