Pet Shop Boys Drops New Music Video for “Feel”
British synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, consisting of Neil Tennant (vocals) and Chris Lowe (keyboard), dropped a new music video for “Feel” on August 20, 2024.
The song is featured on their fifteenth studio album “Nonetheless”, which was released back in April.
The album reached No. 2 on the UK Albums chart and became their highest-charting studio album since 1993.
This time, “Feel” was released as the 5-track EP, featuring a previously-unreleased song “Everybody will dance”, a German demo version of “The schlager hit parade” sung by Chris Lowe, Floorplan remix of “Loneliness” and Superchumbo remix of “Everybody will dance”.
The video was directed by Corbin Shaw and Rory A Wood, featuring British actors Sam Bottomley and Tareq Al-Jeddal.
Pet Shop Boys said of the video, “Shot on a journey across England as emerging UK actors Sam Bottomley and Tareq Al-Jeddal drive to the seaside, Corbin’s signature slogan-style artwork is displayed on banners that can be spotted in various locations along the cross-country route. Corbin Shaw also took the photographs for the single’s artwork.”- Director Corbin Shaw said, “I’m thrilled to share that I’ve collaborated with Rory A Wood to direct the new Pet Shop Boys single ‘Feel.’ This was such a huge honour being such a fan of the group for as long as I can remember. I really fell in love with the Pet Shop Boys music when I got my own car i’d drive around with the windows down playing it aloud for everyone to hear. Music is always better in the car.”
