Cabin Fever Orchestra Releases New Song “Lasting Dream”
Canadian electronic music composer Graeme Cornies' project Cabin Fever Orchestra released a new song “Lasting Dream” on August 16, 2024.
The song is a heartfelt exploration of enduring love and the evolving nature of our dreams.
The track was initially conceived after Graeme Cornies watched Pixar's ‘Up’ and was deeply moved by the “Married Life” montage.
The piece emerged fully formed, a rare and precious occurrence in the creative process.
The track was written by Drew Jurecka and Graeme Alexander Cornies.
Graeme Cornies said of the song, With ‘Lasting Dream’, I set out to write a narrative-driven song about enduring love and the evolving nature of our dreams. After watching Pixar's ‘Up’, I was really moved by the ‘Married Life’ montage and began to write a song in response. "Lasting Dream" is the result.”
He added, “My parents’ 50th wedding anniversary gave me the excuse I needed to record the song and craft the video in my head. This one is for them.”- source : Apple Music
