Post Malone Releases New Album “F-1 Trillion”
American singer-songwriter and rapper Post Malone released sixth studio album “F-1 Trillion” on August 16, 2024 via Republic and Mercury Records.
The album is the follow-up to the album “Austin”, which was released last July.
Also, it is the first country music album for Post Malone, who doesn't want to be confined to any one genre.
Back in 2015, when releasing his debut single “White Iverson”, he shared on social media, “When I turn 30 I'm becoming a country/folk singer”.
In 2017, he told Poland-based media NewOnce, “If you're looking to think about life, don't listen to hip-hop. Whenever I want to cry, I'll listen to some Bob Dylan.”
Aldo, in 2022, he talked about the album during an interview on The Howard Stern Show, “If I get another year to myself, maybe I'll make a f–king country album.”
The album comprises a 18-track, the deluxe edition “F-1 Trillion: Long Bed” featuring 27 songs, featuring guest appearances from Tim McGraw, Hank Williams Jr., Blake Shelton, Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Ernest, Sierra Ferrell, Chris Stapleton, Hardy, and Billy Strings.
Produced by Louis Bell, Charlie Handsome, and Hoskins.- Post Malone told Kelleigh Bannen of Apple Music about the album, “I've always wanted to make a record like this, but for the longest time it seemed so inaccessible, because I didn't know how the hell it worked.”
He continued, “Working [in LA], I've always felt very distracted. It's nice to go to Nashville and meet people who are the best at what they do, and who are super kind and talented. For a while, it was heavy on me. And for once, I'm not sad anymore.”
He added, “That's the cool shit about music. You can love everything.” - Post Malone shared on social media, “Thank you to everyone involved in the making of this project. I am so honored to have worked with some of my favorite artists, writers, and friends... I have had the time of my life making this record, it's something I've wanted to do for a long time, and I'm so excited for the opportunity to make it. Everyone keep expressing yourself, having fun, loving what you do, and loving each other. I love you more than I can say. Have a great night mofo's, and I'll see you soon.”
