Will Linley Releases New Song “Just Because I Called You”
South African singer-songwriter Will Linley released a new song “Just Because I Called You” on August 16, 2024.
The song is the second single of 2024, following “Blame” released back in April.
The track was written by Bubele Booi, David Balshaw, James Smith, John Samuel Gerhart, Matthew Burgess, and Will Linley.
Produced by The Imports, Internet Girl, Andrew Maury, and John Samuel Gerhart.
The accompanying music visualizer was directed by Taun Visser.
“It is a song that is actually three years old. I wrote it the same summer that I wrote ‘Miss Me When You’re Gone’ and I had the chorus, but I have been sitting with the chorus for three years. But we have been rewriting and reworking the song until it actually felt right. And finally, I feel like we landed in a spot where it feels like there's a perfect cohesion between the world that I want to build and pushing us into the new path world, and I am so excited to get it out.”- Photo by Mike Kimchiii
