Ben Böhmer Releases New Song “Rust”
German DJ Ben Böhmer released a new song “Rust” on August 13, 2024.
The song is the third single off of his upcoming third studio album “Bloom”, which is set to be released on September 27, 2024 via Ninja Tune.
The new album is his first body of work in three years and comprises a 11-track, featuring Enfant Sauvage, Erin LeCount, Jonah, Lykke Li, Malou, Max Milner and Oh Wonder.
Ben Böhmer co-wrote the song with Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Abby Sage. Produced by Ben Boehmer-Baertels.
Ben Böhmer said of the song, “I wrote most of this piece in the Italian mountains, inspired by a beautiful top line from Abby Sage. ‘Rust’ began as a simple piano melody and has since grown into something that really resonates whenever I play it live.
