Billie Eilish Performs “THE GREATEST” & “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” at The LA28 Olympic Handover
The 2024 Paris Olympics closed on August 11, 2024.
During the Paris Olympic closing ceremony, American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish performed two songs “THE GREATEST” and “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” live on a beach in Los Angeles.
The performance is as part of The LA28 Olympic Handover between France and the US ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
In addition to Billie Eilish, American singer-songwriter H.E.R., American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers and American rapper Snoop Dogg performed.
Two songs are features her third studio album “Hit Me Hard and Soft”, which was released back in May.
Both songs were written by Billie Eilish O'Connell and Finneas O'Connell, produced by FINNEAS.- Billie Eilish told Apple Music about two songs.

“To us, this is the heart of the album. It completes the whole thing. Making it was sort of a turning point. Everything went pretty well after that. It kind of woke us back up.”
“BIRDS OF A FEATHER”
“This song has that ending where I just keep going—it's the highest I've ever belted in my life. I was alone in the dark, thinking, 'You know what? I'm going to try something.' And I literally just kept going higher and higher. This is a girl who could not belt until I was literally 18. I couldn't physically do it. So I'm so proud of that.
