Katy Perry Releases New Song “LIFETIMES”
American singer-songwriter Katy Perry released the second single called “LIFETIMES” from her upcoming sixth studio album “143” on August 8, 2024.
The new album is set to be released on September 20, 2024 via Capitol Records.
The song is accompanied by the Stillz-directed music video.
The track was written by Gamal 'Lunchmoney' Lewis, Katheryn Hudson, Rocco Valdes, Ryan Ogren, Sarah Hudson, Theron Thomas, Vaughn Oliver, and Łukasz Gottwald.
Produced by Dr. Luke and Vaughn Oliver as with the previous song “Woman's World”.
Katy Perry said of the song in a statement, “'Lifetimes' is a song about eternal love. It's about finding that one deep and satisfying love of your life. A soulmate doesn't always have to come in the form of a partner - it can come in all different ways, a child, a best friend, a pet. For me it is my daughter - I ask her every night, 'Will you find me in every lifetime?' She says yes, and I feel found. You'll find each other, over and over again, for lifetimes.”- The album “143”, which is code for “I love you”, comprises a 11-track, produced by Max Martin, Aaron Joseph, Stargate, Dr. Luke, Vaughn Oliver, and Rocco Did It Again!.
