FINNEAS Announces New Album “For Cryin' Out Loud!”, Premieres Title Track on BBC Radio 1
American singer-songwriter and record producer FINNEAS has announced his sophomore album “For Cryin' Out Loud!” will be released on October 4, 2024.
The album is his first body of work in three years since the 2021 debut album “Optimist” and comprises a 10-track.
The debut album featured instrumentals written and performed solely by the artist himself. But this time, FINNEAS expands his creative horizons, moving from being a bedroom producer to live studio sessions with other musicians on the new album.
Back in February, FINNEAS told Rolling Stone about the album, “I made my last album completely alone in a room. And that was satisfying to some degree, because I just worked on it until it sounded how I wanted it to sound. But it was really lonely and I didn't feel like, 'This is the best possible way it could sound, I'm so glad I made it alone.' I thought I did an OK job. So on this album, I've made a point to be hyper-collaborative. Fortunately, most of my friends are producers.”- From the album, he premiered the title-track on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The song is accompanied by the Isaac Ravishankara-directed music video.
The clip features his longtime girlfriend Claudia Sulewski.
The track was written by Aron Forbes, David Marinelli, Finneas O'Connell, Matthew Fildey, and Miles Kottak. Produced by FINNEAS.
