Olivia O'Brien Releases New Song “out of your league (but i want you so bad)”
American singer-songwriter Olivia O'Brien released a new song “out of your league (but i want you so bad)” on August 2, 2024.
The song is her first music since the 2024 EP “love & limerence”, which was released back in June.
The track delves into the universal experience of having an inexplicable crush on someone who, by all rational measures, doesn’t seem to deserve it.
It was written by Olivia O'Brien, and Day Wave who also produced the track.
The accompanying music visualizer filmed by Joey Wasilewski.
“I think nearly everyone, at one low point or another, has had an inexplicable crush on someone. A crush that nobody else seems to understand,” Olivia O'Brien said of the song. “A crush on someone who appears to have absolutely zero redeeming qualities. Your friends hate them, they treat you poorly, they probably don’t even like you back at all, and they aren’t even conventionally attractive, either,,, but there’s just something that keeps drawing you back in.
