Beyond Chicago & Example Team Up for New Song “Skyscanner”
British DJ duo Beyond Chicago, consisting of Louis Smyth and Will Marriott, teamed up with London-based singer-songwriter Example to release a new song “Skyscanner” on August 2, 2024.
This marks the first collaboration between Beyond Chicago and Example.
But Beyond Chicago supported Example's UK tour in 2022 and 2024.
The track was written by Elliot Gleave, James Angus, James Robinson, Louis Smyth, and Will Marriott.
Produced by James Angus, Example, Beyond Chicago, Jay Robinson, and Andy Sheldrake.
Example said of the song, “Skyscanner is a song inspired by the many times in the past I've had to book a new flight home after a gig. When 2 days in Ibiza turned into 4. Or when I thought I'd fallen in love again with a lady for the 114th time”- He continued, “Louis and Will are like my little brothers. We've spent so much time together now on tour buses and backstage that we're like family. A collaboration was only a matter of time. The beat on this one is perfect for both our sets because we each play uplifting and high energy dance music. And the concept of Skyscanner perfectly captures the essence of how much time we're constantly spending on planes”
