Jessie Murph Releases New Song “Dirty” featuring Teddy Swims
American singer-songwriter Jessie Murph released a new song “Dirty” on August 2, 2024.
The song is taken from her upcoming sophomore album, following “Son of a Bitch” and “Cold”.
This time, she teamed up with American singer-songwriter Teddy Swims on the track.
The track was written by 'Downtown' Trevor Brown, Cleo Tighe, Jaten Dimsdale, Jeff Gitelman, Jessie Murph, Oak Felder, and Zaire Koalo. Produced by 'Downtown' Trevor Brown and Oak, and Zaire Koalo.
The accompanying music video was directed by Erik Rojas and finds her on a fictional early 00s-style game show called “DIRTY” where she gets to exact revenge by exposing this ex in front of the world. Teddy Swims appearend for a memorable cameo.
“When someone fucks you over do you wallow and feel sorry for yourself? Or do you make them sorry for what they did?” Jessie Murph tols Rolling Stone about the song. “I was so excited when he [Teddy Swims] wanted to jump on the song and he did not disappoint. His voice is absolutely incredible and he’s also just the best guy. We had a lot of fun working on this together.”- The new album is expected to be released in 2024.
Jessie Murph said of the album, “I don’t want to give too much away just yet. But I’ll just say the album is very cohesive and focuses on a lot of the same themes. They’re some of my favorite songs I’ve ever made and I can’t wait for everyone to finally hear it.” -
